Taking a step towards hospice funds target

Miss Edinburgh Fiona Dickie has officially launched a recruitment drive for a St Columba's Hospice fundraising walk.

The event will take place along the Water of Leith on May 8, with options to follow the "Big Yin", a 12.25-mile walk from Balerno to Leith, or the "Wee Yin", a five-mile trek from Murrayfield to Leith.

Martin Lawlor, campaign fundraising manager, said: "The Water of Leith Walk is without doubt one of the most beautiful routes in Edinburgh, so if you've always wanted to walk it then this is your perfect chance, while supporting our goal to build a new home for St Columba's Hospice."
