Success in child health equality

EAST Lothian Council is making headway in breaking the cycle of health inequality among children, councillors have heard.

The authority was selected by the Scottish Government as an Equally Well Test Site in October 2008.

Cabinet member for education and children's services Peter MacKenzie said: "I am pleased that the administration can report good progress on Equally Well in East Lothian."
