Student art power point

A student at Edinburgh College of Art has created a sculptureinspired by the proposed Beauly to Denny power line upgrade.

Hew Morrison, who hails from the Highlands, has created the sculpture, Ordnance Structure, to illustrate his opposition to the project. It is on display at the Whitespace gallery as part of a group show now.

The power line, which should boost Scotland's grid capactiy, has now been given the go ahead.
