Man found dead on Glasgow bus

AN INVESTIGATION is under way after a man's body was found on a bus in Glasgow.

The man, who has not been identified, was discovered on the number 46 First bus service in the Easterhouse area.

Police were called about the body at around 3.20pm on Saturday.

It is not yet known how long the man was on the double-decker bus.

A spokeswoman for First in Glasgow said: "This matter is now part of an ongoing police investigation and we are co-operating fully in this process as well as having launched a full internal investigation.

"Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the deceased at this time."

A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: "Inquiries are ongoing, however at this stage, there does not appear to be any suspicious circumstances."
