Book prize is all in the name

The 8th International Friction Stir Welding Symposium Proceedings and Managing a Dental Practice: The Genghis Khan Way are in the running for Britain's quirkiest literary award - the Diagram Prize for year's oddest book title.

The award, run by trade magazine the Bookseller, was founded in 1978, and this year's winner will be announced on 25 March.

Also in the running are canine personality guide What Color is Your Dog?, organ procurement study The Generosity of the Dead, novel The Italian's One-Night Love Child and Chinese demographics study Myth of the Social Volcano.
